ABCDE – Better Together

Greetings!  This is the one hundred and twenty fourth edition of the Monday Messenger.  Its purpose is to bring you current information about the ABCDE project and area.  ABCDE consists of local residents from Atlanta , Burden, Cambridge , Dexter and Eastern Cowley County working together for community development.  If you have anything to submit for the newsletter, please send it to shannonthom@hotmail.com.

Mostly Monday Messenger

Due to my many life changes – full time job at Via Christi, expanding agri-tourism business and twins (oh and husband and other kids), the Monday Messenger will be changed to the Mostly Monday Messenger.  I’ll still try to get this newsletter out on Mondays but it might be later in the week also.  Please send me any information for the newsletter by e-mail or just call.  Thanks for understanding.  Shannon

ABCDE Meeting

A budget planning session for ABCDE will be held Monday, September 8 at 7:00 p.m. in Atlanta.  This will be in conjunction with the regular monthly meeting.

Atlanta Labor Day

This weekend will be a busy time in Atlanta as they hold their annual Labor Day celebration.  A talent show, BBQ, parade, political forum, bean feed, craft show, children’s games, and much more will be held.  Monday is the big day for events.
